Posts are factually inaccurate and excessively negative. I'll leave it at this as I don't want to risk calling a Gator a troll. Really, he has only been onsite since last Thursday?
I think Brooke Bernard gets a special attaboy or should I say attagirl for her at bat in the 8th. The way she stood up and kept fouling off pitches until she walked was really good. If she hadn't gotten on base they still might be playing.
"Wallace is good but I wouldn't describe her as a game changing player." She is clearly a game changer. Brings tremendous anxiety/pressure at bat and on the bases. Moreover, her fielding/prep is elite. The pitcher knows there is a 50/50 chance she will reach 1st base. Then she has to deal with the possibility of a steal threat every pitch. Pitcher is distracted on multiple fronts. For sure elite looking at the game within the game.
Agreed. These girls fight hard. They give a significant amount of their childhood yes childhood years crafting their skill and give everything they have. Many have no idea the sacrifices made to play at this level. Best to just say thank you.
Thank God. I unblocked everyone at the beginning of the year, but my blocking for 2024 has now begun. I can't imagine you'll be any different on NBN.
2nd base: If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.......given the reps will be elite. 3rd base: This freshman has the ability to be ridiculously consistent in the field. Once she starts to become confident at the plate, this is someone you want playing for you.
LOl, double down on an absurd statement...bold move cotton. FYI our RPI is fine, of course our numbers are better vs weaker opponents. That's true of every team every year, that's how it works. But we are halfway thru our conference schedule, every conference game vs a ranked opponent, and those are still staggering overall numbers on offense. Of course you then follow with the even more absurd comment on Wallace, so credibility has long left your building.
On the Williams girl: Take the growing pains/learning curve all day with this player. She is close just a little longer. Tim knows it. The at bat (homerun) a few series back speaks volumes. Oozes potential.
Agree - She quit playing high school ball after 10th grade to dedicate herself to a daily workout regimen and to play travel ball to consistently compete with the best. With her work ethic and talent, it's just a matter of time before she busts out and it will be great to watch when it happens.
