Hard to overcome a stat like that if you're a head coach, I'd say.......

And Marquette continues to be Marquette. Like I said before the tourney started, I haven't trusted them in my brackets for 15 years since the Buzz Williams days and will continue to view them as perpetually overrated/running on legacy reputation until they prove they can do something past the first weekend. I think they get way too much credit in terms of seeding for their brand, history and playing in the Big East.

 

Both games close at halftime....wow!

 

Not sure if Houston is going to make it but they're giving it a go. Man I hate Duke BB. FB I'm OK with but BB......

Meanwhile Creighton getting worked over pretty good by Tenn.......

 

Without Houston's best player in the game and NC State next Duke is easily into the Final Four. Geez

 

Creighton with a big time run, down by 4 under 4 minutes remaining. Refs just blew a call that could prove costly for Creighton.

Can't wait to see Duke get pounded by NC State.

Purdue/Tenn should be a good game on Sunday. Feels like Tenn with be a FF team this year.....and have to say DK seems like a good kid, FWIW......

I liked Ziegler at UTs PG last year. This year he’s been overshadowed by Knect obv but I think Ziegler is just as essential. A solid smart guard who can play with anybody.

 

I went from competitive to dead in all my brackets. Oh well.

Unless the Huskies have an off night, I don't see any of the teams that are left beating UCONN.

 

Illini having a tough time w UConn early, but cut it to two 15-13. Hawkins is more of a stretch four than a center, so I think he's gonna have a tough time defending UConn's tall guy.
