Wait, you mean rap isn't still dominated by the people that currently appear on their favorite police procedural on CBS?
The Love Album is a modern classic, IMO. As far as anything he is suspected of, I'm reserving any judgement until the evidence is presented. A lot of hearsay out there.
So he wasn’t on the jet to Antigua. Spotted pacing in the parking lot of the Miami airport yesterday. Doesn’t really mean anything with regards to guilt but him fleeing the country in his jet is certainly more suspect than not fleeing the country.
I read that DHS is also involved in gun trafficking. I guess DHS involvement could be consistent with that as well since there were rumors about firearms.
If there’s a genuine fear about that, can someone tell me why his plane has not been impounded and his passport suspended?
Are you asking because you don’t know that malign actors (organizations that run at cross purposes to national security) use human trafficking both as a means to finance and as a means grow manpower?
Man, I don’t know. The way celebs are getting football score jail sentences it might be smart to dip even if you are innocent.
I was gonna make a joke about if this was why Mase became a preacher. But then i looked up Mase's wiki and saw this. Amidst Combs' sexual misconduct allegations and ongoing criminal trials since 2024, Mase unveiled his previous falling out and dissociation with the rapper due to suspected concerns, referring to his woes as "packback".[5][6
Seems like they do it when the stakes are even lower. Shaq moved around for like 6 months to avoid getting served in the SBF fallout
Why are you putting dipping in quotation marks? If you’re not cool enough to use the word just use the suburban word. Yeah, I could dip if I knew ahead of time. But I’m an upstanding citizen, so it’s not something I really think about.
His passport could very well be suspended. As far as we know he hasn’t left the country. No idea on impounding his plane or if that’s SOP in these situations.
Yeah, I didn’t mean anything by the quotation marks except to highlight that it was a colloquial expression. But I can see how if you can’t read the tone of my words they might have come across unintentionally as condescending, so please accept my apologies. The only point I was trying to make was that normal guys, like you and me, don’t have the option of fleeing law enforcement just because we don’t trust the outcome. Sean Combs shouldn’t have that option either. If the federal government has not taken steps to mitigate his ability to flee, then they are wrong.
How is this different from trafficking drugs or weapons or uranium? Aren't those crimes the FBI investigates (and yes, I am seriously asking, otherwise I would not keep posting)? I just read the mission statement from the DHS website and it reads like a list of redundant activities of a multitude of other federal agencies from the FBI, to ICE, to DEA, to ATF and beyond. Also, I read #12 of 12 where they listed - "Combat crimes of exploitation and protect victims". So, that explains the raids on Sean Combs residences. It is within their purview and jurisdiction. However, that activity, like literally everything else listed on their Mission page are things covered by at least one other federal agency (and likely more). In a day and age where bloat and waste are the buzz words of the federal government, do we really need all of these alphabet agencies literally doing the exact same things?
