Not trying to start arguments, but hopefully some of you will gain some more appreciation for what Micah brings to the team. He was a warrior and difference maker all season, and I think Condon's ascendence made some people lose sight of that.
Yes-we may be in the bonus-but to me-it's the timing of the calls-they get calls every time they go towards the basket-we should be given more FTs -them less 6 fouls on us to their 8...more like maybe 3 fouls on us to about 12 on them
NC state was gassed even though they won- they ended up playing 12 players in the title game. Though most minutes went to 8 guys every game they played. Florida is currently rotating just 7- rarely does a team who only plays 7 guys not tire out.
No Micah is gonna be tough. Big man that runs and moves pretty nice and is a definite deterrent in the lane. He is a difference maker on the floor. Best wishes big guy.
No matter the outcome today, this little tourney run was great for this team. Hopefully we'll draw Friday/Sunday for the tourney to have an extra day to prepare sans Micah.
Turnovers k I know you're talking about me. I've been hard on Micah because he didn't seem to be playing with the kind of effort we need. But today he came out really playing hard, hustling for boards, and then the injury happens. Really feel bad for him. Obviously, he is a big, capable player, and without him, I don't really like our chances to go too deep in the tournament. With him we can play with anyone.
