Baseball vs. FSU, Tue 3/12, 6:00 pm

I had Faurot’s dad as a player at Chipola back in the day.

 

Our pitching is absolutely awful

 

centerfield didn't even try there! WTF

 

Slater getting hit pretty hard. Disappointing.

 

That was a tough play on essentially a swinging bunt. Jac usually makes the catch on those bouncers. Scored a hit.

 

This means you are old?

 

Yep - He faced 7 batters and walked 1 and gave up 3 hits, 2 of them doubles.

 

For sure and certain! Lol, I’m old enough that Beechnut was the first chewing tobacco I knew !

 

And remember when FSU was an all girls school.

Last year would love to see Purnell come in. This year... not so much.
Question: If we have 45 freshmen pitchers and let them each throw no more than 4 pitches a game.... sorry, I know Sully is going insane this early in the season.

 

Way to go Purnell! Very happy for him.

 

We called it Gagnut. Whew! Talk about a terrible buzz!

 

Yet Purnell has been our most effective pitcher tonight. Maybe a good outing will be a positive for him going going forward.

 

FSU making us look like chumps tonight. We have another undefeated team coming in this weekend, so we may have a very rough week if we don’t figure things out pretty quickly.

 

New pitcher proceeds to throw 4 balls...in a row. What is happening??!!

I don't know much baseball but it makes sense if you can't throw strikes you can't win.
