So they had 23 more opportunities. Yeah that's not good.

I wonder if the three second half three points attempts were a season low?

No, I didn’t know that. At any rate, they suck, wherever they come from.

I know one of them went to Central Florida but I don’t think he made than phantom call from quite a ways away.
Another one reffed in the NBA and still does I believe.
FYI, I just researched out of curiosity. It didn’t take long to see UK has a treasure trove of “data” on referees who did their games. Figures. If these refs could just do one thing, for me, it would be do not make a call unless you see it. You HAVE to see it, period.

Philosophy. Some coaches like a TO while some like to go fast and have rhythm and flow. He chooses the second option, But used the time out when we got in trouble.

It worked btw....Clayton just fumbled the ball.

There are no "SEC refs" in basketball. Football, yes... But hoops refs are not all aligned with a conference.

I think everyone saw this loss coming. Florida was riding high and likely feeling complacent going into this game.

I agree with you. My point was that we gave them the game where offensively we completely outplayed them.

I was shocked he wasn't pulled. I thought he gave Vandy all the momentum and was the biggest reason for the L imo. It's hard to justify playing him going forward when he's playing like that. I think TG will really need to pull him quickly for the remainder of the season as soon as he makes a bad TO.

That, I agree with. But you also implied that the game was fixed which I definitely don't agree with.

Did you notice his complete lack of defense in the closing seconds especially after the awful inbounds? Putrid.

there was one totally unnecessary behind the back dribble that stuck in my craw the remainder of the game. Richard may not have had a good game shooting, but at least he blends in with the playmakers.

I will say that part of the rebounding was due to Vandy missing badly. The ball kept comin out 10+ feet. Part of it was Richard and Clayton not being able to hit water from a boat.

Agree on the Samuel foul, I'm guessing the ref saw the Vandy player fly out of bounds and assumed a foul. I watched it several time and did not see any reason for the Vandy player to go like that. We should have dad a 3-point lead and the ball at that point.

Kugel pulled a Clayton-esque save for an easy Vandy basket. DON'T SAVE THAE BALL TOWARDS THE OTHER BASKET! Do they not understand that?

Handles has to be tougher than that or lose his starting job. It's no wonder they had so many offensesive rebounds, a lot of the taken from Handles. And not boxing out.

I'm getting pretty annoyed at all this player bashing. It's all been said people. Give it a rest. Did you guys just start watching Gator basketball this year?

We lost. There was a bad call toward the end. But we lost because we weren't up by 15 at that point in the game. Up 15 and the bad call doesn't matter. Bad calls happen and if we had taken care of business earlier in the game it is a non issue.

Blame the refs if you want but a lot of the reason we lost was because we didn't play well for the balance of the game.

    We lost the game.
