He is somewhat quietly having one of the best individual seasons in program history. I figured he’d be “good”. I undersold him by miles and miles and miles. He is absolutely one of the best point guards I’ve watched in a gators uniform.
For me, it’s been one of the most enjoyable individual season performances I’ve ever watched. Noah, Wilbekin, Prather and Pullin… just magical seasons that I’ve loved.

I’ve loudly lamented the state of college sports… portal, nil, etc.
But even that hasn’t dampened how much I’ve enjoyed watching him play.

What’s interesting about him is he rarely makes the “spectacular” play, he’s just in control almost all the time, and he’s shown to be quite efficient at that mid range shot.

The Gator he most reminds me of is Nick Calathes (esp if Nick had stuck around for 4 years to be a more direct compare as a sr). Both 6’4” PG that play a sort of flat footed style. Calathes was probably a flashier passer.

Dude is playing so well, he forced both me and you to make apology threads. I love it.

When have we had a 6'5" PG with thickness and athleticism? Those are just the physical attributes. He's also $ with the ball, can create his own shot, and has great court vision. Did the broadcast show a stat that he has set the Gator record for assist/turnover ratio? At any rate, we have the best PG in the SEC and like y'all, I've had a blast watching him.

I surely think he's in the discussion. Along with Samuel and Clayton.

I was so disappointed we didn't get Tylor Perry...really wanted him.

In hindsight, I wouldn't trade Zyon for Perry in a billion years! I love everything about his game. Agree....he's had an unbelievable year. He didn't have 1 turnover tonight.

Just wished he had another year along with Samuel.

We can make some serious noise in the tournament with Zyon leading the way.

Our own Point God. Yet another game with ZERO turnovers. In 33 minutes, as point guard.

A 4.45 Assist/Turnover ratio on the season. According to @GatorGrowl he "ranks second in the nation (#1 in P6) and is on pace to set Florida’s all-time record"

We are so lucky to have him. Will be very difficult to replace him next year, but let's enjoy this ride with this MASTER at the helm.

the rest of the league is taking notice. if he's not it'll be because a guy like Sears has more gaudy stats, but whoever it is won't be any better as a PG

He's a much better shooter than I'd been led to believe when we signed him. A good deal of that is that he rarely takes a bad shot, just always bides his time until the shot is there. Except for his advanced ability to create a step-back shot in the paint.

And this was in a game between two of the fastest teams in the country, with a zillion possessions. Remarkable to play 33 minutes at the point in a blistering game like that without a single turnover.

Andrew nembhard is the guy that always gets lost in these comps. Idk if it's due to him transferring or ppl just being a little put off with his style later in his career, probably combined with Mike White always pulling the reigns back with him. Big body both guys are 6'4 and good decision maker, he didn't have the midrange of Pullin and I don't think he was as good of a defender while at UF. Nembhard has turned into a solid pro player and I imagine if he were running this offense, we would have said they're comparable players.

from all of the hype he had, I was surprised that he wasn’t starting his first game.

I remember and liked him honestly. Same goes for Tre Mann's second year as well.
