    Don’t cry for Eli. According Gold he had two job offers “within two minutes” of Bama putting out the press release and he accepted one to be announced on Friday.

    I think most knew. Heck CBS has a play of the game every broadcast and generally the radio call is used.

    Mick and Eli easily have the most play of the game calls over CBS's tenure as the SEC home.

    I mostly knew Eli Gold on MRN Radio calling NASCAR races for years with Barney Hall

    New guy was already there. Eli only did the home games last season, this guy did the road games. Apparently Eli was out much of the previous season and he filled in then. Sounds like this was in the works for awhile.

    Does "Respect the Process" have any disclaimer that "The Process" is basically nothing but unfettered cheating and rule-breaking?
