This was such weird time management by Reid. They literally let it run all the way down and weren't even thinking of a FG and ran the last play with 3 seconds and the clock running. They wouldn't have even gotten a FG try. Crazy

 

Missed extra points always seem to come back to bite you.

 

It was a good game anyway. Glad I took a nap during halftime.

Umm that's not how it works in OT now. It's a new game, with each team getting a full possession so if the clock ran down, it's on to quarter 2. They kick a field goal, Niners get the next possession and they keep playing for an entire game if they have to until one team outscores the other in equal possessions.

 

Doesn't look like you were right on either point. Another Super Bowl win despite Taylor Swift and KC outscored them 25-12 to do it. Kelce with almost 100 yards on 9 catches.

 

I told my wife “all the Niners have to do” about three times. I think KC mystique won that game.

 

Sure it affected the game but who's to say the chiefs don't score a TD at the end of regulation instead since they wouldn't have had a choice but to run another play? I'm weird like that as a fan, I'd rather have to make a stop against a 3 point lead instead of a 4 if time and distance isn't a factor because the opposition is thinking 4 downs the whole time which is harder to defend.

 

I don’t get the Taylor Swift hate. Yeah she’s dating a guy on the team and is supporting her dude. She’s a big celeb, so whether you like it or not, she will be shown. As a middle aged guy, it doesn’t bother me. Usher, boy the times things happened with his music playing in the background, brought back some great memories. The commercials…the Christopher Walken commercial was great and that Dunkin’ Donuts commercial was great. I was pulling for the 9ers not because of Taylor Swift but more about how much i despise the warchant. With that said, just Shake It Off

Me too. Should have paid more attention to the commercials. 30 years ago, I had four commercials play in the Super Bowl.

 

The weirdest commercial to me was the RFK Jr. political ad. I thought to myself, “wow how much did he have to pay for this ad during the SB?”

 

Funny how so many who complain about canceling folks were so worried about a pop singer dating an nfl player that they may have missed a great game! Well coached and played! Just a classic.

 

So rigged. I hate football.
