When was the last time Auburn beat the Gators' basketball team in Gainesville?

I understand- if you have to justify something, it’s wrong. I was not justifying it though - I don’t like it either. But they have to get used to it because that is going to be in their life no matter where they play - that was my point. Should have articulated it better.

 

That’s true, but at least the Gators don’t have to play on the road at another team’s home-court who’ve had a week to prepare for the Gators in the tournament.

 

I appreciate what you are saying..just wish we could be a little better in how we express/articulate frustration and disappointment about losses etc here in a public forum...no need for bashing coaches or players..and I am seeing too much of it here now...and same critics hash and rehash the same thing no matter the topic..

I saw us run a lot of clock and take shots late in the shot clock. Which is fine. We had a huge lead. If we keep the tempo up, I feel pretty confident we win by much worse. Great win Gators!

 

So Auburn was #4 in KenPom. Hmmmm.

Yes, it's about gaining consistency now. You get two big wins like we've gotten and the teams that are coming together and starting to turn it on keep it up heading into the tourney. We've not done that yet this year. We've been so up and down up to this point. This would be a great start to that.

 

Some are very hateful/harsh...I get frustrated many times..however I don't publicly post it..and I always ask myself..would I want someone to post a nasty statement about my child or family members or friends on a public forum...

Nice to see Pearl keeping the AU tradition alive in the ODome.

 

I love to see how fired up golden was at the end of the game. Enthusiasm like that is infectious.

 

Did you see him pound both fists into the scores table at one point? I would love to have seen him get teed up for that!
