Wait a second….is it April 1st or something?

 

Analyst? Great, but who's going to be on the field directing traffic?

 

Analyst doesn’t appear in the article…

 

Can an analyst talk to the players during meetings? Can he talk to them during practice? Can he coach them at practice? Can he talk to the via phone or something during games? What are the limitations?

 

It absolutely appears in the article and even mentions that a space will not have to be opened because he’s an analyst.

 

If you look at the linked article from the tweet it says the following:

“A former placekicker, who played at USC under head coaches Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin in 2009 and 2010, respectively, Houston will oversee the Gators special teams operation as an analyst, meaning his hiring will not require a space on the team's on-field staff.”

 

Absolutely correct. I read it and missed it…. I was specifically looking to see who was being moved and totally missed that sentence. Thanks for the the correction.

 

Analysts can't see anything and can only send communications via carrier pigeon.

Is a coordinator higher than a coach as in offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator?

 

In other words: CBN ain't changing anything about his "process" one damn bit. To all those who think that the amount of years he stays as HC is an important variable in "turning things around": now is your opportunity to reconsider.

 

If successful this could mean to difference in a couple of wins this season.

 

Not sure how you can say Billy is not changing anything. New DL coach, new secondary coach, new experienced Co-DC, new special teams coach, new S&C coach, new Nutrition coach. Four coming from NFL but they were also successful in college previously.

I didn't say no changes at all; I said no changes to his process. Mark it down: there WON'T be a new OC. There WILL be two OL coaches. There WON't be an on-field ST coach.

 

I thought the NCAA was adding a 10th on field coach this year?
