Sports Illustrated Lays Off Entire Staff

Is that real or photoshopped? Haven’t been paying attention to SI in a while. If it’s real, I’m going to need at least a 18 pack of Lite and some consumption time

 

I actually subscribed to the old gator bait magazine. Had it mailed to my home in Atlanta. Things change.

I did as well. I still have a box full of old ones from 93 to 96.

 

2006-2008 for me…

It seems to be impossible anymore to find a piece of written, TV, or radio media that doesn’t inject their politics into the content

 

As a Detroit Lions fan, I really hate that your Packers let that game against SF get away from them last Saturday. Damn

 

I used to have a subscription to SI, but, I let it go. It turned into having a really heavy year-round emphasis on the NBA, and, I have exactly zero interest in that. Then it got more and more political. It seemed that the only thing really keeping the magazine alive at one point was the annual swimsuit issue. Even that has gone astray. The market has spoken. No loss.

 

I bet ya did.. It’s probably better for ya really. The Packers would have done the same thing they did on Thanksgiving… Detroit probably couldn't have handled that-

Wokism got them right in the heart.Read S.I. for many, many years but print is dead except for the Epoch Times.

 

I haven’t picked up a sports illustrated since Heidi Klum was on the cover.
