Who’s going to the to the 2024 Softball First Pitch on the Diamond Program at KSP on February 3rd? I will be there. I’d like to meet some of you.

 

I’ll be there! It would be great to put some faces on the members of this board!

 

Keagan and Ava are on softball America’s top 50 watch list. I don’t know if Mia ( which she definitely should be) or any of our other freshmen since we need a subscription to access the article.

3.of my favorite moments from Amanda

1. 2017 super regionals hitting the eventual series tying home run vs Alabama

2. absolutely crushing a ball to start the rally that eventually led to through game 1 victory vs Texas A&M

3. The pure elation crossing home plate game 3 vs Texas A&M.

 

My favorite moment was in the 2017 WCWS vs LSU. Game tied 0-0 in the 4th inning. Chelsea crushed the ball and gives Florida the2-0 lead.

 

If we are talking great moments, Jordan Mathews homerun against A&M to get to the WCWS has to be at the top of the list.

 

This one is at the top! Taylor Schwarz catching the last out from Hannah Rogers is my second for the first Natty.

 

Thank you Ocalaman for the youtube. One of my 3 favorite SB moments. I was standing with Allie's Dad the whole game and his excitement and pure joy was one of the great moments with a parent that I have ever had! Beating Patrick and the smug Roll Tide Roll was icing on the cake!

Taylor Schwarz has a record that will be hard to beat. She got the putout on the last out of both the final games in the WCWS in 2014 and 2015.

First, the aforementioned assist from Hannah. The second was unassisted on a grounder to first.

BTW she is expecting a child this month.

 

My bonus favorite moments from that game.

1. Stacey Nelson spiking Megan bush helmet in pure excitement!!
2,. Some Alabama players with one leg over the dugout fence anticipating celebrating the win and a possible of playing that night. And the pure dejection of watching Brittany rogers run out of room and watching Florida celebrate at home plate
