This isn't the topic of this thread; you inserted an off topic post--complaining as usual. I responded. I'm not going to respond anymore, except to say, maybe you should wait until the plans are completed before you complain. The bids and improvements will hardly be done the next day.

Again I think the nIL money is a very simplistic argument. I don’t think we are so out of touch with spending. It points to a philosophy of how NIL is being approached at UF. For whatever reason it’s appears not geared towards making the team a contender and gaining every possible edge. Hope it’s just perception and we are surprised.

 

Agree. I don’t think it’s about $. It’s about philosophy (as you said), current roster, and needs, as assessed by Coach Napier and his staff.

 

They have a booster who patented some type of material for all the tights women where everyday, billionaire. After they got shoved to side in the BCS, she offered to match any contributions made to the program, for how long is anyone’s guess.
It is being spent on making all the gump players richer than they were. The transfer portal at work with the NIL slinging cash with no vetting.

I assume fsu is banking on their Bama haul because they sure are gloating. Friend of mine who is a Seminole and usually a pretty decent fan was throwing jabs to me about our portal haul and begging for Napier to stay. I can say without exaggeration that I hardly thought about fsu unless we played them when we were up and they were down. Not that I didn't check to see their scores especially when they lost but I never went to their boards. Ever. Same with Georgia fans.

Tend to agree, I might visit a rival site to read the threads, after a UF win, but seldom if ever comment, and if I did it was respectful.
And that was in younger days, I don't visit rival sites anymore. Besides, I find plenty of misery on our boards.
