As a Patriots fan, I am glad this guy is finally gone !!!! IMHO he should have been shown the door after that fiasco of benching Butler in SB52, throwing Brady out the door, and getting rid of Jimmy Garropolo for only a second round pick, and nothing changed my mind since.

Unpopular opinion, but guy was 100% a product of Brady. He wasn’t a particularly great HC before Bledsoe went down, and was run out of Cleveland before that, and his Patriots team completely fell apart after he left.

You speak 100% TRUTH !!! His record pre / post Brady (well below .500) as compared to the 20 years with TB12 is REAL. There is a lyric in that country song, "I feel lucky today" (don't recall who sings it), but it goes....."The stars might lie, but the numbers never do" !!!!

He should just retire, however there are several NFL GMs that are foolish enough to bring him in.

Just so people don’t quibble with you, let’s go with 99% product of Brady.

To make matters worse, there are some owners out there that will actually be stupid enough let him be their GM !!! Do they not see the train wreck he created in NE as a GM?

I wanted Vrabel as well. Mayo will be a complete train wreck. He is in so far over his head, and nothing but a watered down continuation of Belichick. The organization needed to completely clean house.
