    I know there’s still lots of time left to go, but I have to find it concerning there right now 24 seven sports has us listed as 16th Best in acquiring players thru the transfer portal. Considering how far we fell in the recruiting polls this is very concerning. Loved to listen to Steve Russell and Shane Matthews on Monday mornings talking about the game the previous Saturday. They said consistently throughout the season. The reason we were not doing well was the lack of talent on the field. I’m afraid we could be looking at more years of mediocrity. Hoping I’m wrong.

    Colorado had the #1 portal class last year. How'd this year go for them?

    LSU had the 5th ranked portal class. A big chunk of those transfers were defensive guys. Look at how awesome their defense was this year.

    It ain't all about the rankings.

    I'm holding out hope for Mertz if he can cut down on the turnovers he had at Wisconsin. A game manager would be fine.

    I feel like I am in a Time Machine. You are still holding out hope? Dude just balled out last season. All he has to do is pick up where he left off. He is a lot more than a game manager. He proved that on the play where he got injured. Even I was ready to tackle someone.
