The only problem for Michigan is what adjustments do they make to improve? They played pretty much the best half you could ever hope for against Bama. But you know Saban will make huge adjustments and as poorly as Bama played, they are only down a measley 3 points and get the ball to open the 2nd half.
I've never seen a Saban-coached offensive line get manhandled like Michigan is doing tonight. Part of it is Michigan's scheming, but other times they're just overpowering the Tide. Let's see what kind of halftime adjustment Nick can make.
Milroe's decision making wasn't great when he did have time. A few too many downfield heaves which Michigan is ready for. But I bet Bama doesn't think they can engineer 10+ play scoring drives so they need the big chunk plays.
With rule change and the automatic 25 yard line spot, it doesn’t make a ton of sense to try and bring it out….for anyone. Drove me crazy when we did it.
Exactly. And that's pretty much a great half against Alabama, no? Rarely do teams pull away from them. Bama's OL is uncharacteristically bad today, even the center getting in on the misery.
Breaking news Michigan has cracked the code and can steal play calls on AT&T’s new helmet for hard of hearing……
