Haha! Have been watching these types of posts from you and others all day. So assuming you must be a large contributor to the collective and therefore, unhappy with how your money is being spent. And before asking I rarely post but do donate to the collective. The biggest fallacy in this argument is that the people controlling whether we spend money on these kids are the same people that will decide Napiers fate. Not message board posters and what they feel they were sold. There is a balance. You can’t just pony up money for every kid that wants more. You don’t thing that the national player of the year is sitting on a very big bag. One that maybe Auburn doesn’t have so they spend that money on others knowing matching would be difficult or problematic at times for us. Especially knowing we have a lot of holes to fill. Hey I wish money were unlimited but it isn’t. I think there should almost be a rule that anyone that types the fact our collective did not spend enough should be accompanied with a copy of the check you just wrote to the collective to help purchase that recruit. I am joking of course. Anyone can type anything. It just seems easier to tell everyone else to spend their money for what you want.
Clearly, you haven't done your homework. This kid is the best player on his team playing QB, S, and CB. His film shows him to be athletic, fast, and talented. With UF, he'll be able to concentrate on defense. If he's a backup plan, he's a good one.
I think the days of backup plans are mostly gone. Better to just get a solid performer in the portal than a long term project.

Honestly, Freeze is a darn good coach, yes he made some mistakes, who hasn't, but he will turn that program around a lot faster than well you know who.
Exactly. The kid is a fantastic athlete. He's played a lot of different positions and sports. Now that he's 100% at safety the sky's the limit. Who ever is labeling this kid as a "backup plan" is ignorant and disrespectful. The Gators have been on him for months and had a scholarship offer regardless who signed with UF.
