More like sci-fi! Check out this fun story. Just STOP Breathing! Peer-Reviewed Study Says Human Breathing ‘Contributes to Global Warming’ – Published in PLOS ONE – Climate Depot
Those people have terrible hygiene and don’t brush their teeth. No way I’m believing any study from there.
2023 is now confirmed to be the warmest year on record by a good margin. 2024 will likely be up there as well, as this current El Niño continues. 2023 confirmed as world's hottest year on record
If you only view those with whom you disagree as brainwashed idiots, you’ll never be an ounce wiser than you are today.
For all the talk of “climate alarmists” the warming seems to be progressing faster than previous expectations. .
Time distortion from global warming. Study published to Nature.com shows that the melting ice caps are affecting the rotation of the earth. A global timekeeping problem postponed by global warming The historical association of time with the rotation of Earth has meant that Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) closely follows this rotation'. Because the rotation rate is not constant, UTC contains discontinuities (leap seconds), which complicates its use in computer networks. Since 1972, all UTC discontinuities have required that a leap second be added'. Here we show that increased melting of ice in Greenland and Antarctica, measured by satellite gravity*s, has decreased the angular velocity of Earth more rapidly than before. Removing this effect from the observed angular velocity shows that since 1972, the angular velocity of the liquid core of Earth has been decreasing at a constant rate that has steadily increased the angular velocity of the rest of the Earth. Extrapolating the trends for the core and other relevant phenomena to predict future Earth orientation shows that UTC as now defined will require a negative discontinuity by 2029. This will pose an unprecedented problem for computer network timing and may require changes in UTC to be made earlier than is planned. If polar ice melting had not recently accelerated, this problem would occur 3 years earlier: global warming is already affecting global timekeeping.
Another impact of climate change?? Scientists working to discover why fish in Florida are ‘spinning’ themselves to death “This is the highest we’ve seen of the gambierdiscus cells in the Keys,” Florida Gulf Coast University researcher Adam Catasus said. “We don’t know if it’s the main cause.” The single-celled algae, which can produce various neurotoxins, is showing up in record-high levels, but it’s just one more stressor on marine life that is already reeling from pollution, overfishing and off-the-charts ocean heat waves brought by climate change. “So, there’s concern and curiosity on could the hot temperatures in the summer cause some changes that maybe led to the fish behavior now, and we just don’t really have all the pieces together to try to link one to the other,” Parsons said. “They really have no idea what is happening. I mean, there is no concrete, conclusive proof of what is happening yet, and that is still there to be determined, which is quite terrifying,” Furstenwerth said.
Sea level is about a foot higher between those two pictures. Are you aware of the existence of tides?
