I guarantee you all of Gator Nation will despise them this coming season... we play them in Texas next season.
I think he stays with Florida. But any player who may decommit/flip I hope they have already informed the coaches so they can move to other portal or high school targets. Hate when they lie to the coaches.
First phase: I am committed. It means, until further notice this is how I feel. Second Phase: I am not taking any calls or visits. It means I am committed (mainly). Third phase: I have signed. THAT means commitment. In each instance, there is likely a desirous but mainly unsophisticated (read immature) HS player involved. Now to the nuances, I changed my mind (maybe): that means he is decommitting because he is not mature enough to have made a decision before. It happens. I am signing with (not original team): That can mean one of two things. The first is that the conditions that made him committed before has changed. Again, it happens. The other, and you touch on it, is that he has been playing the system to some financial or egotistical game (see Rashada). And that is more than immaturity, it is a sign that you don't want to have them around. And to me, it is a relief to find out about them sooner rather than later. And to the coaches, anyone who "counts their chickens before they have hatched" is not going to last long. You HAVE to have Plan B and C around just in case.
This sucks but he didn’t invent football or perfect it. I felt the same about McClain last season. Now, somebody roach Filsaime in our game next season.
Nobody should be surprised. Wish we could have kept him. Did the Texas oilmen buy him that island? Now let's limit it to that and sign the rest. Gator bait.
The bad momentum hurt with a few kids but it is what it is. It’s Billy’s turn now to hopefully make some big moves
