There are tomeenty teams that are buying five star players. Some can afford more than others, though.

 

And we need a half dozen guys that can play....immediately. Not just bodies like we did on Defensive portal players last year w/ the exception of Cam Jackson.

 

I could be wrong but I thought there has been talk of moving Jackson to OLB.

Don't follow recruiting enough to know but in order to succeed we're going to have to get some guys that top programs also want, and there has to be room for them.

I totally agree. Our skill players all the way around are fine. We could use an experienced cornerback, and we could use an experienced wide receiver, but we need the line of scrimmage on both sides and some linebackers. When Shamar went out, we had the linebackers we brought from the portal and they were not very good.
