Absolutely. But that isn't the same as me heaping praise on Saban's/Alabama's methods. It's the greatest good out of a bad situation to me. By that same token, thank goodness for auburn as a thorn in Bama's side. It would be nice to be able to handle our own business again and not rely on others to take them down but yes, I'm grateful when Bama can knock off Georgia. Washington all the way for me. Easy choice.
Thing is, SWAC has an outside shot at an AP title. If they beat Georgia; there's a chance that Alabama won't rise above them if they win two games. Last time the AP went a different way was 2003, I believe (USC). I wouldn't put it past the writers to make a point in this regard. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
Middle of nowhere, lol. Almost to Texarkana if it’s two hours from Dallas. Sulphur Springs is only about an hour.
Washington. No bama, who cares about the SEC, Michigan is school of dirty cheats and Texas annoys me for some reason.
Interesting take. I believe USA Today named the 1984 Gators National Champions the year BYU won the title beating a mediocre Michigan team. If SWAC wins, the post game presser should be revealing. Lucky for us, they aren't playing a mediocre team.
I'm not sure how clean a program Washington is, but the other three leave a really nasty ring around the tub. So, Washington for me.
Process of elimination. I definitely want to see Meatchicken and the Big Ten [sic] humbled. And I don’t care to see the PAC-12 go out on top. We would never hear the end of it.
From Washington? I’ll never hear the first word. Actually I do know exactly one Washington fan. I’ll have to deal with one Washington supporter if they win and I like him.
The AP final poll means even less now than it meant then. And it didn’t mean much in 2003. It was joke when the Trojans went around claiming a championship in a game they were not in. The AP was also on the wrong side of history when it went with Michigan over Nebraska (1997?) and Colorado over Georgia Tech (1990?).
Washington is a team I've liked all season. Not too crazy about Michigan (I grew up in jersey, had to watch them every week, bleh). I lived in San Antonio, Texas fanbase Is insufferable (especially when Stoops was at Oklahoma). And I prefer bama over ga/tenn/lsu at anytime
Well, I have to go back to California when I get done with school here in Alabama. That’s great you would never hear another word about it. I would definitely hear that the “PAC-12 retired with the crown in hand. Just sayin’ …” I prefer that conference to go out not with a bang but with a whimper. And since this is all about me, I’m going with that.
I get that the poll would be useless, but so are the 'Noles, so if the poll fits, I'm sure they will try and wear it.
