Several of those that walked have not made decisions re returning, at least publically

No kidding. I know you'd have the real info. I just posted what I know from my time in.

 

Correct, not publicly. But all Jr's that walked last year, left. And only a few of the 7 that walked this year haven't publicly stated they are gone/staying...there are 3 remaining.

Yeah, there didn't used to be a SEAL rating; those guys used to train and qualify under other ratings, then they worked into the SEAL program. But, now, there is a unique SO rating specifically for SEALs.

 

I never said he was a civilian. What I said, was he joined the navy, did their required pre-seal “boot camp” so now he is part of the military, but he was not prior.
In addition his only reason for the joining the Navy was to become part of the seal team.
It’s not like he joined the service and several years in decided he wanted to be a seal. The seal team was the objective.

I told my wife, I wanted her to call him and ask if I was a real Seal
(I was in the Army). I just want to meet him.

The video of him catching a big biker in New Orleans with the trident tattoo and then going to his job, was awesome.

I served with a loser who was in an article during the bike event in DC where the Marine salutes all the bikers. Well, an Army guy did the same thing and here's my guy with his biker vest on teaching the kid to salute. He had a Ranger tab and Special Forces tab tattoo on his arm. All my buddies got a laugh out of that because he never went to either school.

 

He’s good but after his freshman season, I did expect a bit bigger of a jump but I’m still bummed he left. Gatorbait

Last week, you said something about Etienne and Wilson news coming "Sunday"......well it's heading into Wednesday now, and here we are, still nothing to report.

And it's not just from you. I've been seeing posts from others alluding to Etienne, Wilson, James, and whoever else hitting the portal. The sky is falling because our best players supposedly want out. So when's it actually going to happen? Is there any actual insight behind this, or just speculation from a bunch of chicken littles and negative Nancys?

 

Not a word out of those three so I don’t know if that’s good or bad.

 

If ETN missed the team meeting does that mean he’s gone or could it be something else? I’m hearing all this smoke but it’s Wednesday and no fire (and no hires)
