I have a pretty simple rule, while I think throwing my own questions back in my face is generally fair game, I expect my question to be answered prior to giving you a response. If you can't do that, you're not interested in an honest conversation. You just want to blast opinions you don't like while hiding behind the anonymity of your own. I have better things to do than to engage with that.
Not really. They are both examples of censorship and for a lot of people banning a book from a library is the equivalent of banning them from reading it. When I was young I made a lot of use of both my school library and my town's public library. I read a lot of books that I never would have otherwise read.
I don't actually care who you think librarians should be accountable to. But since you say you have better things to do, you should probably be doing them instead of explaining why you won't answer your own question.
Societally we’ve redefined what pornography is. We understand a bio-graphy to be a story about a person. Similarly, porno-graphy actually goes back further than the internet and magazines. The printing press was the first technology that allowed for mass dissemination of porno-graphy. It existed in story form before images and videos were possible. And it seems like we’ve come full circle with LGBTQ evangelism where story books are used as a gateway to win new converts to the LGBTQ lifestyle. We should recognize many of these books as porno-graphy even if they don’t have pictures in them.
Oh no, whatever will I do? Some guy I have no intellectual respect for won't take me seriously anymore.
Yeah, that's typically what 'no longer' means. Like if I say 'I no longer believe you're a real lawyer', that means at one time I did, but I don't anymore.
No, I think it's your communication skills that are the issue here. If you want to express that you've never taken someone seriously you might say, 'I've never taken you seriously' instead of 'I no longer take you seriously'. That's pretty basic. If you want to be understood (and taken seriously), you're gonna need to work on those communication skills.
I suspected that almost right away he posted something so ridiculous in a legal take that i knew he was a “lawyer”. Subsequent posts confirmed it. We also have a dentist who pretends he’s a doctor.
Newsome lies so much I can’t tell when anything he says is the truth. He didn’t answer any of the questions and didn’t even try to dispute any of the data that Hannity provided just continued to lie.
What nonsense. The LGBTQ community isn't trying to convert anyone. I can see where someone who has bitterly suppressed those feelings might think that, but that's on that person for just having those suppressed feelings "aroused" than anything the LGBTQ people are trying to do.
