To me, they looked good, they had skill players and they had a tough Dline even though we ran for a ton of yards. They have guys who come up and hit you, even their RB punishes people. With all that being said, winning that many games by 1 score is sometimes luck and will regress the following season. If they don't make a 60+ yard FG and make a 4th and 17 against a 5-5 team then they are 7-4 and not 9-2. That just goes to show you when you're not extremely talented, any game can go your way or the other week to week. They will more than likely finish 10-2 and get a new year's 6 bowl, which is good for them. I'm just not sure it's sustainable going forward, no matter how much Drink puffs his chest. Let's not forget he was on the hot seat coming into the season, and was getting made fun of for jumping into the arms of an assistant when a kid committed to them earlier this year. How quickly perception of the season/program/future can change by winning the games you should win, and being competitive in the games you shouldn't. Last year, if Napier beats vandy, I think everyone sees the season as a success. This year, if they beat Arkansas, it's not really a success, but people aren't acting as foolish. Win your home games, win the games against bad teams, and you buy yourself some time to get your guys.
