Well that’s part of the reason Mullen got canned…

Does he want to go back to being an assistant or does he want to try it again? And does he and Napier have a relationship?

As an aside, Jimbo seems gone. Can he be our OC? We won't have to pay him much. Thanks, aTm!

Last 4 weeks has been a bit of a turn around. Since the lost to OK on a two point try, beat U. and smoked Ok State yesterday…
Not sure UCF is in the fire coaches quick group.

Is Blimbo that good of an OC? I was never really impressed by him.

I think Napier has the ability to self reflect and will make the necessary changes. If he doesn’t this off-season, then I get your concerns.

Billys coaching tree is comparable to the dead apple tree I pulled out of the earth with one hand this year.

Jimbo? Disgusting. Plus I assume he can’t work anywhere else to keep getting his buy out

We all have that ability question is will he and will those changes be good changes? So far DC change is not looking so great.. Too soon to fully tell but not a good trend. (Even throwing out last nights disaster).

Welcome to the Big 12. They have actually done pretty well, considering the schedule difficulty. Did pretty well against the Oklahoma teams.

Thankfully he didn't name the dog after himself. I don't think you are remotely close to being correct here. For example, how do we know the process doesn't involve some of the changes folks are clamoring for? Do you think he's going to disclose info about the folks he might be targeting to improve the OL, ST, and offensive play calling? I haven't seen any indicator that ego is CBN's issue.

I like Armstrong. I think he will be a good one. I’m really not sure why the last 3 DCs have all struggled. I need more data (another year) before I give up on our current DC, just like I would’ve given Toney another year before calling for his head.

I’m open to hearing why y’all think we are struggling aside from the usual bad coaching or inexperienced players or lack of depth. Thoughts?

No clue, one thing is players often seem to be out of position, playing off the WR.
I can’t believe all theses guys are busts and opponents teams have such better WR talent.

Marshall came in super highly recruited #2 CB in his class, his first year was his best if I recall correctly started all 13 games as a freshman.

my personal view on the outside is…

    1. get rid of many off the field support staff to free up cash. You’re not Alabama right now or Georgia. Build your identity, then later down the road revisit bringing in more support. BTW I believe UF can be just as successful as Bama and GA.

    2. Tell your assistant coaches who you’re “comfortable” with good luck but bye.

    3. Put pride aside and go out and hire the best assistants possible and give up control to make your team better.

Probably not. But he IS available and he has experience. NC experience. I doubt he is interested in coaching again. He is going to have WAY too much money.

Hunter Yurachek hasn't made any decisions considering his head coach Pittman. I think he will wait until the end of the season, but Pittman didn't help himself with this last loss and guaranteed losing season.
