It's a bad combination in both states. The state GOP parties are respectively covering MAGA lawsuits, which are losses. Plus, there is less money coming in from a smaller donor pool, as moderate Rs are not giving.

The Arizona GOP is in even worse shape, with less than $50,000 in reserves as of the end of March, down from $770,000 in the same period in 2019. The party spent more than $300,000 on "legal consulting" fees in 2022 as then-chair "Chemtrails Kelli" Ward faced multiple subpoenas from both the House January 6th Select Committee and federal prosecutors investigating her role in the post-2020 election coup attempt. They also pissed away $500,000 on an election night party and bus tour for their losing slate of statewide candidates Kari Lake, Blake Masters, Mark Finchem, and Abe Hamadeh, unhinged MAGA assholes who lost the governor, US Senate, secretary of state, and attorney general races, respectively. "It's too bad we let the right wing of our party take over the operations," said longtime Grand Canyon State GOP donor Jim Click, who told Reuters he's out.
FYI, Jim Click owns several car dealerships in both Southern Arizona and California, but lives in Tucson. He's one of the biggest NIL donors for the University of Arizona. Met him a few times, and he's a good guy who is fiscally conservative, but more socially liberal. Not surprised he's done with the MAGA candidates, and has stopped donating to the party.

Looking bleak for the GOP in swing states - doesnt take long for MAGA rot to take root. I bet Trump's legal bills are being paid though.

Michigan GOP faces 'imminent default' on credit line, ex-budget official says

Lansing — The Michigan Republican Party is considering how to deal with "imminent default" on its line of credit, according to a resignation letter from a member of the state GOP's budget committee.

The message, obtained Thursday by The Detroit News, reveals the seriousness of the financial problems facing a party in a battleground state a year before the 2024 presidential general election. Kristina Karamo, the Michigan GOP's chairwoman, has struggled to raise money after rising to power in February while railing against the party's "establishment," including past donors.

It's unclear how much debt the Michigan Republican Party currently has. However, in March, Karamo told a group the party had $460,000 in outstanding obligations from the past leadership team. She was elected chairwoman in February. It's not unusual for the party to borrow money through a line of credit with Comerica Bank in an election year, like 2022, and then pay it back through fundraising the next year.

But by August, six months into Karamo's time as chairwoman, the party had about $35,000 in its own bank accounts, a small fraction of the debt, according to internal bank records previously obtained by The Detroit News.

Maybe MAGA should just start printing its own currency?

They’ve spent decades mindwashing rubes that taxation is theft.

With that I’m mind, it’s definitely a bold strategy to steal and repurpose political donations from people you’ve spent decades convincing taxation is theft. Now, apparently, their political donations will be stolen too!

Almost like this was inevitable. I’ve always thought donating to politicians was stupid. I have never knowingly given $1 to a politician. But I swear, donors to the GOP grifters must need their heads examined.

Polls? We just had an election and it was a MAGA wipeout. Polls say voters dont love Biden but the democratic ticket is heavily preferred. But whatever.. MAGA can keep doing what MAGA is doing… it equates to losing.

Lol, oh, well if the pundits are saying it based on polls, I guess your criticism of polls doesn't count. Do you really believe that nonsense?

The pundits are not merely sourcing poll numbers for their criticisms of Biden. It’s a whole slew of things including the boarder, lying, crime, falling over, forgetting, the cost of eggs, violence, CRT, dementia, Wars, corruption……

the general pulse of the electorate.

Turn on the TV and actually listen.

these concerns were raised months ago when sleepy joe was up in the polls.

I haven’t given a penny ever or placed a sign in my yard for any presidential or state elections and don’t ever plan to. I’m not going to use my hard earned money so a bunch of yahoos can have extravagant parties and business trips.

Lol, so then you believe anything people tell you on TV? Or just the things you want to believe? Tell the truth: how shocked were you in 2022, since you believe the pundits on TV so completely.

y I have no idea what you are trying to argue. So I shouldn’t believe the opinions or insights of democrat pundits like the Ragin Cajun? Whether I believe the numerous opinions of other people is irrelevant to this thread regardless.
