We are talking about 2009 right? If so, UF played KY (the nice folks who Injured Tebow in the first place) before an off week going into BR. The UT game was earlier in the season that year.

Shane Matthews has been consistent that FSU may be experiencing a little "fools gold", when one considers a weak ACC, that FSU tends to "play-down" to the competition and they have a really good QB that masks certain deficiencies. Should they make the playoffs we shall see.

Norvell will still portal it big time. He realizes most 18 year olds don’t step right in.

I’ve said this before we are now we’re Norville was a couple of years ago. Billy should be going to the portal especially to address line issues. If he does that we could see some reasonable change starting next year.

 

My prediction is he will play in the beginning if they get a nice hefty lead, he’ll take them out to protect him. Unfortunately that’s probably the way it’s going to go.

 

Recruiting and picking up players through the portal are both necessary to improve. Recruited players take more time to develop portal players very often have experience and can start right away. Both are necessary to have a strong program.

 

I think he needs to add a WR too with Pearsall gone. The kid from Boise just announced he is entering the portal. 6'4 200 and probably going to be a 1000 yd receiver this year.. just sayin..

 

Norvell's class is full of flops

 

Been saying it for 2 years. Have to be aggressive in the portal. Film is everywhere. With the size of the staff we have we should be able to evaluate portal talent quicker than just about anybody else. Like I said, the film is everywhere not like the kid has to send some in.

 

To be safe he should grab two wide receivers but we all said he should’ve grabbed another one last year. We shall see the kid from Boise should be somebody we are already on and not waiting till the second season is over and we can officially get him here we need to get him here.

 

Talent is easy to spot. Character and heart not so easy. The portal is still iffy. When elite players start jumping towards money it's over Johnny.

 

Ask the staff member who forced to stay in the video tower in high winds if Brian Kelly cares about the well being of his team.

Brian Kelly ordered him to stay in the tower despite warnings and he died. That was just a guy taking video at practice. Imagine what lengths he would go to keep his QB on the field.
