Tate may have very well lost but the good ole boys made sure he didn't.

MS's 2 heaviest minority districts kept running out of ballots with thousands of people still in line and the polling places kept getting reloaded with only 100 ballots at a time. A judge would not keep polls open past 9 so this could be remedied.

This is way worse than anything the Italian satellites pulled off in 2020.

I haven't dug into it, but it strikes me that this is a good example of a situation where each side could promote a possible conspiracy depending on the outcome. Unexpected equipment malfunctions are one thing, but I just don't know how it's possible that polling locations don't have enough ballots. Is that handled by the State? The County? Individual precincts?

This from the Daily Beast a left leaning publication.
"the ballot shortage, according to the county’s election commissioners, was caused by a surge in voter turnout"
Better look into it before you call it supression. My guess it being a democrat county the county's election commissioners are mostly democrats.

It appears it was a county-level responsibility to print the ballots, and the county is Democrat controlled. They are supposed to print enough ballots to account for a 60% turn out by Miss State law. One precinct ran out of ballots by 8:30 AM ... major screw up....

I can only speak about here. But the oldest and least reliable equipment always seemed to be in African American precincts. Other logistical disparities as well

That typically seems to be the case with the longest lines as well.

The shortage wasn't the issue. The remedy was. Printing 100 at a time and delivering them causing significant delays and letting the clock run out on voting time.

That theory don't fly.....you are going to have to come up with some solid proof this was due to voter suppression if you are going to seriously make that claim.

Hell at this point you haven't even linked a story, to address your claims.

Here is a photo of election commissioner Jermal Clark of Hinds county. I think he is the one responsible for African-American voter suppression.

I don't have to come up with anything. And even if I did, you've proven you wouldn't understand it anyhow.

Maybe you would like a photo of the Hines county election commission in action?

Sounds like they printed an amount for an out of cycle election but turnout was large due to governor's race and they ran out without any back up plan to get ballots where needed. Both parties supported keeping the polls open.

"As ballots ran short, groups filed two lawsuits to try to give people more time to vote Tuesday night. One was filed by the nonpartisan group Mississippi Votes, and the Mississippi Republican Party initially supported it. The other was filed by the Mississippi Democratic Party."

Ballot shortages in Mississippi created a problem for democracy on the day of a governor's election (timesunion.com)

If the polls close while you are in line, you still get to vote. Doesn’t appear to be a single voter who claims they were denied the right to vote.

This is fake “news” and race baiting.
