I like Raphael Warnock. Gretchen Whitmer seems interesting too.

Let's keep this trend going for at least one more Presidential election!

CNN notes that DemoncRATS are leading in 53 of the House races in VA. 51 needed for control. That’s a pick up if it happens and give legislative control to the Dems.:)

How do I find this safe space they tucked their tails to? Maybe they'll accept me as their token liberal.

It's Kentucky, so maybe a black Republican vs a white Democrat presented a dilemma..... or am I being unfair?

Until the 2nd week of January, 2021 the landing spot they fled to chat among themselves was a free site. After the insurrection and a number of these disgruntled MAGA types made posts with comments that would have brought them the sort of attention one does not court - comments like if he had known it was happening or been able to attend, he would have gone with his gun, the owner of the chatty site took the political forum private. There is a fee to join. I do not know how much it is, but think it might be a lifetime membership on the site.

PM me if you want further info.

Beshear had favorable ratings among Republicans before Cameron had ever declared. I don’t think race was a factor in this election.

I heard Matt Bevins was paying for the Cameron victory party.

He reminds me of Bill Clinton without Clinton's sleaze.

I've really been impressed by Whitmer. She was reelected in 2022 by a 10 percent margin and she may have had coattails too considering that for the first time in decades the Democrats ended with the governorship and majorities in both Houses of the state legislature.

Good lord they hated me. They finally banned me, but not for political posts. You’ll get called every name in the book and most of them live in a completely different reality. It’s an angry bunch over there.

No thanks! I couldn’t keep my temper in check.

I almost want to say I don’t understand such people, but I do. The word Nazi is a loaded term because of the holocaust, but having read a lot about the early years in Germany, going all the way back to the 1920’s, it’s obvious to me that the MAGA crowd has the same emotional makeup - and it is emotions, not rational thought, which motivate them - as those who gravitated to Hitler. These are dangerous people, and they relish being so perceived.

They had troublesome childhoods. In that respect, I feel sorry for them.

I think so for 2028. As he said the voters don’t want someone who goes too far to the left or right, they want someone who will go forward.

No. It’s because he tied himself to Trump. Trump is political poison and has a very poor record as far as his endorsed candidates winning elections goes.

LOL...no. Even Beshear had an ad with a voter saying he voted for Trump because he is right for America and he is voting for Beshear because he is right for Kentucky. Trump's endorsement of Cameron just isn't enough to overcome Beshear's popularity. There's a reason Beshear never tried to tie Cameron and Trump together.
