However, the article comment below reminded me of the weirdest political commercial I've seen from a Democrat. Beshear had a Kentucky resident on his commercial saying that he is a republican who is voting for Beshear. That part isn't unusual, but he went on to say that he voted for Trump because he's right for America and is voting for Beshear because he is right for Kentucky. I only saw that commercial once and wondered if there was push back from democrats to remove it. But President Joe Biden's generally dismal approval ratings and Kentucky's fundamental Republican lean may be working against him.
