Which is exactly the case Napier is making. He is telling us I can’t give you competent, winning football unless I have Georgia’s talent. Baloney! Every week we see coaches doing more with less.

Zook had talent, he still couldn’t coach.

do we look more like Zook coached teams or Meyer coached teams?

I don't follow Twitty, but is this common? I mean having a player who gets called out responds in earnest? That can't be good for business. o_O

Daaang! She nailed it. I can’t find a single fault with her analysis. We could use her on the sideline.

I'm done with the negativity. It isn't good for the team, the staff, or the recruits. Some feedback is needed. Some glaring issues need attention. CBS, ESPN all the talking heads are going apeshit on the Gators and now it's pissing me off. (enter a slew of colorful adjectives, with feeling)

The Gator faithful will step up to the plate and do what they need to do to turn this around. The staff needs some building as does the player personnel. It'll get done. I have faith. People need to chill the - out.

Expect to lose the rest of our games and if they rise to the occasion and beat someone they shouldn't, it'll be a par-tay.

I'm behind the kids and staff and am gonna hold them in their highest possibility. Surprise us Gator football. Two tough road games. Impress each other, we'll join in the fun! Screw all the other teams relishing in our struggles. They're next up...and, they know it's coming.

    Go Gators.;)

Zook had talent and recruited talent. He beat some really good teams too. Should’ve had a heisman. He really wasn’t that bad, just followed a legend. This teams trenches are pretty bad and you can’t lose the trench battles and expect to win many games. This staff looks like they can get tge talent, can they get their shit together on tge field is the question.

When was the last time we hit a field goal to win a game? I know we have to have but I can remember lsu at home, Kentucky at home and obviously Saturday off the top of my head where we had a kicker with an accurate and strong leg that shanked each one when it counted. Add to the pain of that, the other team kicker seems to never miss.

i Liked the Napier hire at the time

i live in a sun beit town and he would always beat that school

Fla has had good coaches after Steve and Meyer just was too nice zook too much of a def guy Muschamp or had no fun factor mcwayne

i also really liked mullen because i thought if he could lead miss st to 9-10 wins he would win all 12 at uf

u should always think u can win every game not only can u recruit on a national level but u are a 2-3 hour car ride from 5 mil recruits which is more than the whole state of ark

They should be glad they’re just farting. My beloved Gators have dropped several metaphoric turds on the field the last few years.

Mullen had a tightwad for an A.D. who was more interested in all-sports trophies than football trophies. The problem was that the rest of the SEC did not have a problem spending money on their football programs, and we did. We got passed by almost every football program in the SEC for spending and organization for the football team. We were near the bottom for facilities, we had one of the smallest staffs in the SEC, and we had one of the strictest interpretations of NIL spending of any school in the SEC. Mullen had to coach with one hand tied behind his back.

Meanwhile, Kirby Smart is telling alumni organizations to do whatever it takes to bring in top recruiting classes.

That's why we struggled to recruit a lot of our players away from FIU, FAU, and UCF, and that's why we play like we're FIU, FAU, or UCF (the current version, not the one that thought they were national champions).

After doing some surfing I once again realize how different the swampgas forum is compared to other forums. This is a heavily moderated and overall more mature base. It is somewhat insulated from what the perception is from the masses. It's unfortunate we seem to be the outlier because from what I saw, it is ugly out there. I'm actually surprised at what is allowed to be posted on some of the other boards. The Facebook groups I understand because they are unmoderated and they are loaded with losers who have nothing but sports but it is depressing to think recruits and families visit those pages.

Chance Poor? TN wide right couple years ago (I remember Voldaddy's video of him blowing the ball just wide, hilarious). Heck even in the game we just played their kicker missed one. If we convert extra point and they hit their FG we are down by 2 rather than tied. We loose in regulation on the miss.
