Lived on Blytheville (later Eaker) AFB as a kid. Base was flat dab in the middle of a cotton patch. Transited Little Rock area while I was stationed in Hawaii. I had my full HI getup on with flip-flops, OP shorts and T. Girl walks up to me in public and asks "you're not from around here, are ya?". Ar Kansas...
Percy Harvin is still running through Arkansas after his 1 cut house call in the SEC Championship game in 06 which led to our BCS Title!!!
Back in the day he was headed to interview for the Arkansas job (most likely would have gotten it) and heard about Pearl Harbor on the radio in his car so he turned around and immediately joined the Navy. Ended up at Alabama after his time in the military was up lol
