I think that he was more of a real victim than the student. Just my opinion though.

As the father of a teen daughter and almost teen son, I struggle with my double standards daily.

The daughter is dating and I want to be cleaning my shotgun when the boys come by to visit.

Meanwhile - I can't wait to see my boy do well with the ladies (he's had a glow-up, as they say).

My conflicting emotions here truly bother me. I don't act on them unequally, but I can't stop feeling them.

I was a very lucky 16yo to attract the intimate attention of a 24yo substitute teacher. She was not my teacher, a friends sister. I will forever be grateful for the times we shared. I guess each case is unique.
