Predict the score: Florida vs Georgia, Sat. at 3:30pm on CBS

Just like last year.......21-13 or so at halftime and then second-half, the wheels come off. Final score 42-16. Mertz 13-26 180 yards for 1 TD and 2 INTs and a fumble. Rushing totals UGA 292 - UF 56. We go 2-14 on 3rd down and have 10 penalties for 95 yards. 2 coming on a drive which we are on UGA's 4-yard line 1 minute before half and wind up settling for a 46-yard field goal. Defense allows a 70% 3rd down conversion for UGA.

Sorry not getting a good vibe about this one.

 

Gators lose 31-17 after being tied at the half 10-10. UGA is still too good, but the Gators keep it competitive!

The Butt Sniffers lead too many statistical categories on both offense and defense. CBN stated we need to play a perfect game against them to give ourselves a chance. The USCe game we won with our backs against the wall in the 4qtr against a defense no where near the level of the mutts. We play with fire, intelligence and intensity, with a never give up mentality, but fall just short. Bad guys 34, Good Guys 28.

 

Guess I’m a cockeyed optimist. Gators 23 Dawgs 20.

 

Mertz is playing better than anyone expected and we have some dudes at the skill positions …but, I don’t trust this OL against their DL. I see us struggling to move the ball. GA won’t look sharp either, but they’ll manage. Low scoring game.
