    We are about to find out how good Georgia is without Brock Bowers. I, like many others on this message board, denigrate Big Ten teams as not having elite rosters and playing against weaker competition. However, College Football, Inc. has improved Big Ten recruiting. Last year we found out in the playoffs that Michigan did not have an elite defense. This year, to me, Michigan looks like a number 1 team, but we will likely have to wait for the playoffs to find out, but playing Penn State and Ohio State will giver us a better indication than they would have in years past.

    BRING BACK THE COMPUTER RANKINGS... Strength of Schedule has been taken OUT OF THE EQUATION by humans. James Madison would get crushed by many team not in the top 25 and they have no business being ranked above the Gators in any ranking system.

    Not at all, all we have to do is win and and all is well.

    But you have to admit that teams like James Madison have not played the schedule we have... So they reward wins and losses to whomever they play? We played Utah and lost, and if we have just played a James Madison instead we'd have only one loss...

    However, I would still rather we play interesting/difficult games than play cupcakes for mid-season rankings.

    The system needs to better reflect strength of schedule... but it will not change our goal to win every game in front of us. If we just take care of business... none of that crap matters.

    Sagarin's computer algorithm only reflects his own bias. Bad input... bad output. His strength of schedule is wins and losses. Lol. That might be off, becasue it's been a while since I have seen his full list of stats that he calculates from.
