I like your optimism, but they are statistically better in every category, which doesn't necessarily amount to a blowout, but it sure suggests a win. Most worrisome for us, imo, is that Georgia has a very balanced offense, and our defense is meh, and that's being charitable. Even if the mutts can't just run the ball down our throats, Beck will hurt us through the air. Kentucky destroyed us with a totally one dimensional offense; the mutts aren't one dimensional, and I hate to think what they can do to our D. I'm not knocking the D; they are very young with talent gaps, not the fault of this staff. But they are what they are. Mutts win big; I hope we keep it to 21. I
I’ve watched quite a bit of their games and haven’t been impressed. Their go to guy is out. I think that changes the game a bit on offense. Granted I’m not calling a win but they aren’t what they were last year or the year before. Many see this. The only SEC game they looked really good was against UK, who just got manhandled by Mizzu. It’s a true rivalry game., I’ll take the points.
They have better lines no argument there. There things we can do to help neutralize/minimize that. Many team get beat even though they have the best line, happens all the time. 08 Vs Ole Miss we were head and shoulders above them, at home, you know the rest. For the record I’ve not been known as a pumper here the last two years, I’ve been critical of Napier and his style, but pride and being an underdog sometimes means something.
I don't hate the spread. Tough D and less than 21 is possible. I don't have faith in our depth so..... As a true Gator and NOT dog I do hope to expose a fatal flaw to a deeper team and then SEC still wins,ga don't and my life can have some peace again. I have no clue how insufferable we would have been winning back to back but I know how they are.
That's what stunts and delayed blitzes are for... getting to the QB. But you cannot do it from a 3 man front... unless you have 3 more on a quick delayed blitz.
Somebody is eventually going to knock Georgia off its pedestal. It would be fitting if it was us… and if that is what kick-starts our resurgence. This needs to happen.

That reminds of an old Lewis Grizzard bit. He was at a Georgia game with a friend. They were observing Uga doing what dogs do. And one of them said, "Boy, I wish I could do that." And then the other one responded with "He'd bite you."
Not into moral victories, but if we play sound, disciplined football and get beat because they have the better team, that is different than self destructing and handing them a 60 point win.
The truth is it doesn't matter what scheme is being used. If something doesn't change ga will run all over them.
