Where is the actual quote from Ramaswamy? I don’t see where he said the driver fled the scene. She also clearly honked her horn and flipped him off. The police never said that she didn’t, despite what the OP claimed.

Weird because I saw an interview with him right after it happened and he said it wasn't a big deal because nobody was in his car but that the police were trying to locate the driver of the car because they did leave the scene. Sounds like libs trying to make a big deal out of a minor traffic incident.

Except the woman who supposedly fled is the one who called the police and remained on scene until they arrived and issued her a citation.

I think it's pathological at this point. He's not Trump, he doesn't have a built in base that will believe anything that comes out of his mouth, no matter how obvious the lie.

But agree, it’s a bit vexing. the police report says they didn’t intentionally do it and there isn’t much damage after “ramming” someone’s car. Plus I think we all agree maga embraces openly lying to their followers, play victim, and encouraging conspiracies for political gain. But on the other side, Vivek and his campaign are so emphatic about what they say happened. Why go to those lengths if it was totally innocent per police report.


Maybe they are a anti-Vivek young couple who said obnoxious comments and drove off and accidentally hit his car. The campaign quickly & casually made claims without thinking and the accusation took off.
