That's the inexplicable thing. Pre-game pundits said their offensive line was mediocre, their quarterback was below mediocre, but their running backs were good. QB was as advertised, so all we had to do was stop the run. Why it didn't happen, I do not know.

 

What do you suggest? We have had 5 coaches in a short period. Changing coaches ain’t the answer. We are gonna have to live through these issues. We have to stop with the insanity.

You could also say at 5-0 Kentucky hasn't played any decent competition. Not much of a schedule so far.

I totally get what you are saying, the difference is we will pull in better players than UK ever will.

The question is will it beat the elite teams, Bama, UGA, LSU, and Ohio State.

Me too. From day one we’ve said offense is antiquated. 2-3 receivers running routes and often times one is a not so fast tight end. Throw in we go play action almost every play fooling no one and it’s a recipe for a not very productive passing game. Every good college defensive coordinator knows it and they dare us to throw.
Throw in oline only giving Mertz 2.37 seconds to throw and we don’t truly don’t throw it down the field much and you get what you see.

Replacing Odom or Hansen with a receiver in the route would help as neither are a threat to break something big and defenses know it.

The other thing….Why is Etienne not on the field to start the game. He had 0 Carries in the first quarter . 0 Carries.

 

If he respects it HE will have to find a fire in himself to start motivating his team and even me saying that is a problem.
