My wife looked at me and said…who the hell are they polling? The people on tv I see who seem to love trump aren’t exactly the kind of people I run with though. Lol
As stated, What’s new? I listed several things that have been repeated by these candidates many times. What’s your point?
trump won my county by ~ 70% last time out and if one uses the yard sign index as a measure, he seems as popular now as then. Have seen yard signs for no other candidate yet. Granted, these are the same people who thought Madison Cawthorne in Congress was a good idea.
Forget the polls, the ratings are in and they are terrible. Trump is the defacto winner here. Trump is the GOP's daddy. Enjoy the the bed you made. Second GOP debate ratings: Viewership drops by more than 25 percent Ratings for the second Republican presidential debate Wednesday are in — and the 26 percent decline is not a good sign for candidates not named Donald Trump. Around 9.5 million people tuned into the debate, which was broadcast on Fox Business Network and simultaneously played on Fox News, where most people tuned in, and Univision, the network said Thursday. In comparison, almost 13 million people watched the first debate, which Fox hosted at the end of August. The falling viewership comes alongside seemingly tepid appetites from Republican primary voters to choose anyone other than former President Donald Trump. It looks like people just went with the ones they already liked. like republicans claiming trump won a debate and democrats claiming Biden did.
I think the point is primaries can be highly volatile. This isn’t a general election with opposing parties. Also, performance in the first few primaries can shift momentum drastically. But I agree Trump at this point looks unbeatable.
Really? I won't vote for DeSantis but thought he did either best or 2nd best. Thought Haley was solid. Not a fan of Christie and think he was 3rd best. So not sure where you are getting that from.
I don’t think we’ll have a real handle on who will take the nomination until the voting starts. I really don’t trust the existing polls. Let’s see how voters act once the pool dramatically thins.
I would vote for Haley for sure at this point. Not sure if I'd vote for any of the others(for sure a no on trump). https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/538-washington-post-second-republican-debate-poll
Yep. Would Hilary in 2007 be better for you? Simple answer is what happens 15 months or so before an election doesn't mean much. Clinton Maintains Large Lead Over Obama Nationally
