    Well said.

"It is really strange to continue to see defenses being absolutely disrespectful to our passing offense and us doing nothing to change this."

It's not like BN doesn't want to change it. He can't, it's above his OC abilities, pure and simple. Like in D, Toney and AA are like night and day. Had we still had Toney, this will be a 4-8 team or worse. So don't diss the national media being wrong before the season. None, even the most optimistic Gator fan, expected AA could make such a huge difference in such a short time.

NEVER is the short answer. His O has been not very successful anywhere and anytime, and that doesn't limit to the Red Zone.

So your contention is our record last year was a reflection of our offensive production?

I know some people here think James is mean. But whenever I listen to him he praises the team when praise is warranted. He even praised certain offensive plays in the Charlotte game, the few that were praiseworthy.

Agree but if we don’t change this offense we could be a four or five win team again this year. Worrisome.

As I think about our last 3 coaches they tried hard to be something they were not. WM tried to be a HC when he is more suited for being a DC. Mac tried to be a big league HC when he seems best suited for smaller schools. DM really isn’t best suited as a big league HC but very suited as an OC. All this to say, BN is best suited as a HC rather than an OC. Hopefully he is humble enough to see this. Just my take.

Agree. He was fired as OC at Clemson. Later, he was passed over for promotion to OC at Alabama, which led him to quit. Offensive production at Florida has been abysmal the past couple of seasons. It's obvious he's not good at this.

I am impressed by how he is building this program though. But he really should leave game management to his assistants, like Saban does.

Come on now, we all know he never says anything good about anybody associated with UF. He hates UF which is why he takes the time and effort to breakdown the film so he can fulfill his need to watch UF be bad. He is a mean man and he picks on our kids and coaches, we must protect them. /sarcasm

You usually get fired when you punch your boss and I doubt he’s the only guy who’d like to take a swing at Dabo. His offense scored more points than any Clemson team in history the year before he left.

He left Alabama to take an OC position, which is an upgrade from a WR job. Saban brought him in as an analyst after Clemson and thought highly enough of him to bring him back as a position coach a year after he left to take another on field position.

He had a D1 head coaching job one year later. That team was lightyears better when he left it than when he took it over.

You guys keep parroting the same crap like the dude is some kinda chump. You’re going out of your way to say something negative. There is plenty of upward trajectory in his career path. There is a much different way to interpret all of this same data. Are you like this in all aspects of your life?

That’s fine. They obviously had some differing opinions and there was no love lost when he left. His offense still scored more points than any other team in Clemson’s history one year prior to whatever happened, happening.

AA is a Champ, hire a similar OC we'd compete for SECC very soon

His last year at ULL, when he had superior talent over everyone in the conference, had 6 1-score games. That's not what a good OC do, pure and simple. He got lucky and won them all, but that's not sustainable even in Sunbelt. And flat-out won't work in SEC

Nobody called him a chump, but he could elevate the ceiling the football team quite a bit had he looked in the mirror, ask himself a tough question, and hire the best OC available.

It isn’t my life, man. It’s purely entertainment. I have no control over what plays Billy calls or who he hires. I take what I get and try to make the most out of it. If you want to see the negative in everything, you’re going to.

Billy’s last team at ULL went 13-1. You still have this need to find something negative in that. Why?

Because that style doesn't fit UF and won't take us where we want/need to go.

You want to be entertained with 7-5/8-4 records, it's totally OK. Enjoy them.

I'm more into football than you do, I want to see us to win SECC again, to dominate GA again. And when there is a simple solution to set us in the right direction, I'd like to talk about it.

Just like when Muschamp went 12-1 and I said that style wouldn't work, like a few years ago I pointed out Mullen's problems were recruiting, and the terrible OLC/DC. I was hated then and I don't care. And time proved I was right.

Last year I said we need to change OC/DC/STC. We changed DC and it's like night and day on that side of the ball. We kept OC/STC and it's rinse and repeat, just like last year.

When I first heard about it I searched the Clemson board and read some threads about it around his last season there and there was very little chatter about any fight or punch. Just a lot of unhappiness about a tough season.

It was probably cock fans or other rivals blowing it up.

You don’t just talk about stuff. You find the negative in everything and you bitch relentlessly. Your bitching doesn’t change anything. It’s just bitching. If you want to make changes, you’ll need a seat at the table. Go get one. You won’t find it here.

I want to see us win the SEC. I want to see us win titles. Just don’t see the point in being constantly miserable about something I have so little control over. The Gators are my team, win or lose. They’re the only team I follow with any passion, and I follow a whole lot more than just football. I’ll do my best to support them through thick and thin and trust that those in charge and those paying the bills also want to see us bring trophies home. You seem to think they don’t want these things. Every team in the country wants these things. More than a few are putting just as much into their programs as we are, but only one team gets to take home the trophy. It ain’t quite as simple as some folks think it is.
