that shouldn’t be an issue, I don’t always read every post before responding. If there’s a duplicate response, so be it.

 

Way, way back in the day there was a great American swimmer named Don Schollander. He won a few golds in the ‘62 Olympics and then wrote a book. In it he tells a story about his primary competitor in one event. Guy had much better times coming into the games, so Schollander decided to try and psych him out. Followed him around for days. Followed him into a huge, empty, Olympic village bathroom and then waited in line behind him. Schollander ended up winning, not even close.

What are we fighting about? I don’t get it. Saving my piss for something worth fighting for.

 

More importantly, I think this speaks volumes to Napier and his staff's evaluations.

Due to Mullen's "recruiting season" comment, we easily forget that Mullen recruited a handful of top 10 classes on paper and appeared at the time to be an upgrade over McElwain. But they were all duds. His evaluations were awful and 2-3 kids per class never even made it to campus.

Napier on the other hand recruits quality kids and the staggering thing to me is that most of them are early enrollees. I think he had 20 or so last class. Those kids get a 6 month head start on conditioning and spring practice. As a result, many of them are playing now.

There's always that guy. He's the same guy that parks next to your car when you park way away from everyone.

 

We often have a top three class in June-ish. And then we would play the season.
