A revival of the beloved workplace comedy series, The Office, is reportedly in development with the original American showrunner, Greg Daniels, returning. The series garnered widespread acclaim upon its adaptation for American audiences, with Steve Carell brilliantly portraying the bumbling boss, Michael Scott. It boasted a talented supporting cast that included John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, and Jenna Fischer. After a successful nine-season run entertaining audiences from 2005 to 2013, it seems that the Dunder Mifflin team is preparing for a comeback. Too good to be true? Frasier and now this! Wow! https://movieweb.com/the-office-reboot-in-development-with-original-us-showrunner-set-to-return/
Hollywood sequel/reboot-itis hits television, lol. Loved The Office. I expect to be underwhelmed by a retread. We'll see what they can do!
The writers strike will have all this pent up creativity ready to explode onto the screen. Frasier and the office… My body is ready.
I don't know of a previously popular show that reboot and was also a hit. That 70's show was a let down imho.
Damnit that’s pretty good use of a gif. However, I absolutely despised that British Nellie. Love the Nard Dog.
I had to look up Nellie. Robert California is seriously one of my favorite tv characters of all time.
Wow. Interesting, I found myself wanting to punch Bob Kazamakis in the face. It should be noted that he ran Dunder Mifflin into the ground.
Loved and hated the office. So funny… but sooo awkwardly painful watching Michael get through the day.
I thought the Office ran out of juice the last few seasons, now they want to try to squeeze more out of the husk I suppose
I never could get into any of those shows. I guess I was spoiled by the really good TV comedies of the 60s & 70s.
