I suppose Duke is the favorite and we're a darkhorse, but I'm glad CTG is aiming high. The Boozers wouldn't waste their time on an official if they weren't considering us.

My guess is that if we can come up with about $1 million of NIL money to divide up among the two of these guys, we might have a chance of getting their services for one year.

I like that we are aiming high. Golden has done a great early job recruiting, though I think having some on court success is definitely important if we want to get some big time recruiting momentum. Who knows, with them residing in Miami there could be an opening if we look strong this year. Legacy is always a strong pull but it’s also not an automatic. Esp with coach K not there anymore.

Kind of crazy one is a big man and the other a PG. Obviously they are not identical twins, but still interesting just how different they are.

Their father attended Duke and one of them is named for the bb arena there. Aim high!

I'd be shocked if they picked anywhere but Duke, but maybe they want to create their own legacy instead of (sort of) piggybacking on Dad's.

Definitely a big pair of recruits that would be great to see in blue and orange.

If (and a big one), signing with the Gators would get the media in a frenzy. We would get exposure nationally on a game to game basis. The brothers could get an excellent education and if they are good as touted, the pros would come calling early and long. We could schedule to play Duke the same year, possibly early in the preseason or in a early show out tournament. Our team this year will be exciting and after the pros come calling and the grad one and dones are gone, we have a great nucleus for them to integrate into.
Come on Boozer Brothers, we want ya’ll to show out at Florida and grow into great young men!

Grasping at straws here. Carlos did play at least one year with Joakim Noah in Chicago and living in Miami he must know Udonis Haslem. Plus for Florida.

Wasn't he on the 2000 team that lost to UF in the Sweet Sixteen? Minus for Florida.

MBB recruiting: Five-stars, risers and the best shooters of the new Top 100 (ESPN)

Cameron Boozer has a firm grip on the No. 1 spot in the 2025 class, continuing to demonstrate an unmatched level of excellence. Boozer was named MVP of the Team USA 16U National Team that went 6-0 at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Mexico. His high school team, Christopher Columbus (FL), won the section event in Phoenix. Boozer plowed through camp and circuit play with stellar efficiency. A.J. Dybantsa remains No. 1 in the 2026 class after leading the U17 Peach Jam in scoring. He made his presence felt, averaging 25.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Dybantsa finished the summer season by appearing at multiple camps run by NBA players, including Chris Paul and Steph Curry, and gained notoriety working out alongside LeBron James.

    2025 Cayden Boozer, PG
    ESPN ranking:
    15

Boozer was a high four-star prospect in our previous rankings update in late June. He breaks into the top 20 and earned a five-star grade after an outstanding summer where he was named MVP of the 16U Peach Jam championship. He was clutch in that win for Nightrydas Elite, scoring 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting, and averaged 6.7 assists over his final seven-game stretch. The 6-foot-3 point guard pairs noticeable size with excellent decision-making and vision. He plays an all-around game with focus and effort. His outstanding trophy case also includes a gold medal with USA Basketball.

Not to get too out there, but they seem to be right up there with Green, Noah and Horford, in that they are a part of a well-off family and are not into the biggest paycheck in college. And I presume they get basketball at the highest levels. IF they are serious about UF and Golden, either they want a one or two year party before they move on (highly unlikely, Gainesville isn't Miami) or they want to play for Golden and his wanting to become Donovan 2.0. Waiting to see if this has real legs.
