It's not binding, and the FDA hasn't decided what to do about it. But it seems like something that could affect millions of people who use the products daily ... US FDA panel says popular decongestant used in cold medicines ineffective
I’ve used it before and thought it worked ok, but not was well as original Sudafed now over the counter - which is what I always get.
I agree that one never worked for me. A long time ago, my Dr told me it was marginal at best. Damn meth and heart attacks ruin everything.
My dad is a retired doc. I remember getting cough medicine with codeine as a teen and young adult (after that he stopped prescribing me good stuff. VERY UNFAIR!) That stuff was gold. Think you can still get it OTC in some countries. Off topic I used to visit the folks after a long hard bike ride and steal some Darvon. Between that and the endorphins I was floating. The war on drugs has been a total disaster.
You often fondly extoll stories about the great feelings narcotics have given you over the years. It’s very interesting how much you seem to miss those days of having your mind so altered.
Yeah got to say most of it was a blast. They were occasional things except coke for a while but I aged out. Acid was the best (tracing my hand and hearing literally every note of the Dark side of the Moon). My issue was a legal drug, alcohol. I’m off that for 5 years on my own cold turkey, proud of that. Still enjoy some pot and the very occasional shroom. Apparently you can buy LSD infused chocolate in Jamaica. Will visit next year.
