In that case I won’t doubt you, I was wrong and it seemed to me she had done quite a few more games for us than that. My friends and I, many of whom are fans of other teams, have joked about it being sort of a scarlet letter for your team for years now, sort of a “what is worse, losing or hearing her” or “if you keep losing, you know what you are gonna get” type thing and I have put that together with UF’s struggles over the past twenty or so years to inflate my recollection. I do seem to hear her call a lot of games on Saturday nights, ESPN seems rather fond of her and as someone said earlier if you were the kind of person who believes in that kind of stuff it makes you wonder about their hiring practices. I stand by my assertion that UF has had too many less than stellar years over the last twenty years, finishing out of the top 25 almost half (9/20) the time and that for a school of their stature they should be faring far better in college football, especially considering the success we have had in so many other sports.
It's high time women have an opportunity to be as bad as most male announcers in the industry. She checks that box perfectly
I noticed during the Utah game broadcast that Herbstreit made at least four name mistakes similar to what you noted above for the McNeese game. Seems like these guys are doing less and less prep in advance of calling the games lately.
Well, Herbie is a color commentator not a play by play guy, but I agree that Mowins is not good. She may be the best female football play by play announcer out there, but I would urge them girls to do better.
It's definitely not the A team. But I will take audio of cattle grazing over us having herbstreit this week. ESPN is horrible
And why is it that freaking button almost every time. Maybe my brain has a short circuit. I get so tired of fixing that crap
