Some bad news announcers

That's such a weird time frame to pick. I'm not even sure she was calling games 20 years ago, but either way we won 2 nattys in that period, so...

 

I'm okay with Shane Matthews and Tate Casey!

 

I will be present in the stands, so won't be hearing her.

Radio and our new play by play guy will be a treat.

 

When you’re 0-1, ranked 50+ and playing a scrub FCS team, you get Mowins-ed. I smh often thinking about how far Florida football has fallen.

 

If you think her voice is tough to take, wait till you see our offense!

 

I've only seen Mowins a couple of times on broadcasts, it was softball games, but each time there was another lady in the booth (three altogether) and I don't recall what she sounds like but she looks like Mowins' twin sister. Does anyone know who I mean?

 

Michelle Smith? Dont think she looks like Mowins tho.

 

Yeah, I Googled her. Not a twin, but I think she could be her sister.

As for the McNeese game, I'm wondering why it's is even on TV. I'm not complaining, I'm glad, but is it some SEC obligation that ESPN has and there just ain't nothing else out there?

I guess I’m lucky tgat I’m usually able to turn tge announcers into charle browns teacher. I totally ignore most of them but can grasp what they said when I chose to listen. They usually don’t say anything I need to hear anyway. Just like at tge game, I don’t listen to tgat either unless they have something to explain tgat I missed or need insight. I can usually do without somebody’s blather.

 

Like McCartney said of tge Spice Girls, you can turn down the volume and it’s even better.

 

Full misery quotient = Thursday night, in November, in Lexington. I know someone can think of worse, but KY in November is a gigantic pain in the arse under any circumstances. And that doesn't even touch on the "Thursday Night curse/abomination/hellish nightmare from which you can't awake" scenario.

 

I understand completely. I mourned/rued our astonishing fall from glory for a while. And now I've decided it's time to pick up the pieces and see what we can do going forward with a clear understanding of where we are. Like you, I've seen much won and much lost over the years by the only team I have ever really given a Tinker's damn about. And yet, despite hell and high water, here we are again, supporting our Gators and dreaming of glory - while knowing that it can and eventually will come again. I wouldn't have it any other way. GG!

 

Beth Mowins is the most obnoxious announcer in all of sports. You know you are irrelevant, or the football gods are angry when she is doing your game

 

I don’t think anyone wants to play this game of finding Mowens twin with you. Lol
