THE WORST 2 sets of plays, given the situation, in quite a while.

 

Getting to cute on these short yardage plays again!

 

We were not ready for the 4th down

 

How can we have a staff this large, but be so unprepared?

How about an OC next year Billy?

 

Why are we even bothering with that odd WR formation when running and inside zone? Seems absolutely not worth the down side of not lining up right. Also, we have very limited athletes at TE, not good for a coach who wants to feature TE's.

 

Hopefully we see some growth this year

 

Billy and calm. I’d rather see fired up.

 

Absolutely love the play call there. Get the ball in the hands of the least explosive player on the team!

 

Can we please force our HC to hire an OC. It's clear he isn't excelling with calling plays.

 

I like BN. Really do, but man this is embarrassing. Not how you want to build confidence in year 2

maybe those pundits that predicted another losing season weren’t far off.

 

Another false start followed by giving the ball up on downs.

Not impressed with ol’ Billy thus far. Guy seemed out of his depth last year but willing to give the benefit of the doubt for a first year guy.

Right now he looks like a bad decision. And yeah I know it’s game one. Still… we look like a high school team.

 

Right where we left off last season. Sigh…

 

Have we had one successful play to Zanders in 3 years? He's your go to guy on 4th down and short? You can't make this stuff up.

 

Play calling is just awful.

I think this staff is cooked. Can't do the little things correctly, no feel for the game, absolutely lethargic on the sidelines.

 

Question: if that play works was it a bad play call?

What would have been a good play call there?
