Apparently had a sprained ankle so not sure he had to have much of a limp to affect a guy that relies on his speed and elusiveness.
What I liked about Meyer in that game is he wore a rain jacket anticipating a Gatorade dousing at the end of the game.
The seg.ent in episode one where siler describes Urban's meeting with his parents nearly had me actually ROFL.
Was it Siler that wore the unity chain or whatever he called it? He was definitely a great chemistry guy.
Paraphrasing the documentary, but something along the lines of "That's the only one he's getting tonight"
To hear Siler tell it, Meyer is losing his sh!t on the sideline, going hysterical when Siler grabs Meyer firmly by the arm and says: “Hey. I didn’t want the Mfers to score either. But if we can’t score more than 7 points, maybe they right. We SHOULDN’T be here. Now pick up those headphones and let’s go win this game.” Both Meyer and Siler corroborated the story. But only Siler could remember the words. HELL OF A STORY
Percy’s UF career was officially over when that happened. He wasn’t going back on the field again so he could do whatever he wanted.
One story that they missed telling happened during Meyer’s first meeting with the team after he was hired. As Meyer began to address the team, Siler remembered thinking, who the hell does this guy think he is. But by the end of his talk, Siler said, Damn, I think we’re going to win a National Championship!
