That’s on the coach. Not on a 20 year old.

His first three throws should have been intercepted, the first for a pick six.

I hope he is at least a serviceable starter for some years and maybe even a great qb. We’ve never had one come from UF.

Grossman was decent at best. Mathews hung around a while. Just never a really good one. Tough position where average doesn’t work

Feel bad for Grossman, NFL is a tough league for a gunslinger.

I think it was when Dungy was coaching the Colts, he told his defense, Favre is going to throw at least 2 balls that can be picked every game.

Loved Grossman, enjoyed watching him in Gainesville, but he was no Brett Favre. And even Favre only made it to 2 Super Bowls and went 1 for 2.

Yeah, the legend of Favre is WAY more than the reality of Favre. He always had a major brain fart in his back pocket he would always pull out during the big games.

Kind of odd for him to mock Eagles fans on a TD he didn't score, especially when he is still trying to find his footing...

Yeah, one big one being that was a decade off of a half century. One thing I noticed as I am getting older, time does NOT slow down.

He mocked the Eagles after that TD because of things that happened in the joint practice.

Officials were having a rough day too. Eagles game opening drive a Colt tackled their receiver before the ball got there and there was no call.
Next drive an Eagle DB tackled a Colts receiver and again no call. Then on 3rd and 15 AR ran for 16 but was called back for a ticky tack hold.

The thing that really jumps out is how easily he evades the rush on the next level.

Grossman took his team to the Superbowl, short career, but he had a nice peak.

I don't recall whether I posted this on this thread or another. IMO, what is going to save AR's emotional butt (and likely ours also) is that if he becomes a 2nd or 3rd year bust, he is NOWHERE NEAR the bust Lance is with the 49rs. They spent HUGE capital to get an offensive guru his weapon of choice. That is not what Indy did, they merely could not wait until the 2nd round to pull the trigger.

Anyways, I am pretty compelled to see how it all turns out.
